Keren has been teaching Pilates and observing bodies move since 1998. She holds a Pilates Teaching Certification from the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) – an accredited national professional association for Pilates teachers.

Keren Peer | Pilates | Putney, London

Starting her career as a dancer, Keren was introduced to Pilates following an injury. In 2002, she moved to the United States to study under Deborah Lessen of Greene Street Studio NYC, an acknowledged leader in the Pilates field, as well as a founding member and former President of the Pilates Method Alliance.

In 2006, inspired by her work with Deborah Lessen, Keren returned to her native Israel to open her own Pilates studio in Tel Aviv and continue the Greene Street Studio’s legacy in her homeland.

Keren's other major influences came from studying with Irene Dowd in NYC and Gary Ward in London, who widened her knowledge of body and foot mechanics even further. This depth and variety of training, experience and movement intuition enables her to work with a broad base of clients, who come to her for everything from general conditioning to injury prevention and post rehabilitation.

After running her successful studio in Tel Aviv for 10 years, Keren decided to fulfil a lifelong dream and move to London, where she now teaches from her home studio.

Keren is an amazing pilates teacher, very knowledgeable, approachable and kind and she develops a programme that suits your capabilities. I have been taking pilates classes since 2015 and Keren has been my teacher for the past 18 months. Importantly for me I am getting to understand my body's movement and its capabilities a lot better.
